The kickoff to the Ryan Silverfield era of Razorback football is less than a week away. 2026 starts with the Hogs opening against North Alabama in Fayetteville.

With K.J. Jackson as the starting QB, there’s at least *some* continuity in offense, as K.J. has some game experience. The defensive and offensive lines are being touted as much improved. There is some returning talent at running back.

Will this be a comfortable, breathing room win, or a ‘whew, that was close’, start to the 2026 season? Has it been drilled into the players that shooting oneself in the foot with penalties and turnovers isn’t the way to end the game with a ‘W’? Answers are less than a week away.

In the “what’s old is new again” department, the GDRC will return to our tradition of watching games at Buffalo Wild Wings in Addison.
